The below students are alumni of the Teens 4 Tahoe program and helped us further our mission to create and provide a platform for teens to actively address climate change and help to bring awareness and solutions to the environmental issues impacting Tahoe.
Thank you to all our alumni!
Beck Marshall
Hi! My name is Beck, and I was born and raised in the Tahoe-Truckee area. My entire life, I’ve spent exploring the mountains, blasting powder runs, and enjoying everything my home has to offer. That is the same reason why I’m so thrilled that I can be a part of Teens 4 Tahoe, as it allows me to give back to this extraordinary place! A fun fact about me is that I’ve been to every continent!
Caroline Sandberg
Hello! My name is Caroline and I live in Incline Village in North Lake Tahoe. I have been involved in climate action throughout high school and am planning to continue this passion as a major in Environmental Studies in college. I am so grateful to be part of T4T to initiate action in our community. A fun fact about me is that I lived on a 7 mile long island in the Bahamas for three years in middle school!
Julia Chow
Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I’m from San Francisco. Tahoe has been a second home to me and I’m so grateful to be a part of this initiative that’s promoting environmental awareness! A couple of fun facts about me are I love hiking & backpacking and I’m trilingual.
Lauren Novotney
Hi!! My name is Lauren Novotney and I am from San Jose, CA. I love spending my time in Lake Tahoe, as I was on the Diamond Peak Ski Team for 8 years. At my school, I am president of my environmental action society. This and my love for Lake Tahoe prompted my involvement with Teen’s for Tahoe. I will be attending Boston College in the fall, and I hope I can carry out some of the Tahoe Fund values over on the East Coast. A fun fact about me is I went bungee jumping in Whistler when I was 11!
