Tahoe Fund 10th Anniversary Celebration Boat Parade

On Sunday August 2nd, Tahoe Fund supporters gathered for a boat parade to celebrate our 10th Anniversary featuring 50 boats, kayaks, and efoils. We have accomplished too much in these past 10 years with the tremendous support of our donors to let this occasion go by without a party. Thankfully a boat parade provided a socially distanced way to celebrate and honor our Stewardship Circle donors.

Prior to the parade, swag bags were delivered to attendees with “critical” boat parade supplies. Thank you to each of our sponsors for providing something fun to go into the bags.

Half of the parade started on the East Shore where they met at Sand Harbor and cruised along Incline Village, Kings Beach and Carnelian Bay en route to Gar Woods.

The other half of the parade started on the West Shore where they met at the West Shore Cafè and were treated to breakfast burritos and wine before cruising along the shores of Tahoe Pines and Lake Forest to join the East Shore group at Gar Woods.

Upon their arrival at Garwoods, pitchers of Wet Woodys were handed out and used in a celebratory toast featuring the Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District Boat.

It was a great day to celebrate 10 wonderful years of support from our donors in honor of Lake Tahoe. Enjoy these beautiful photos taken by Justin Majeczky and Matt Morning. Be sure to tag us on Facebook and Instagram when you share them. If you would like the high res version of a photo, please email Skyler Monaghan.
