Waterman’s Landing Accessibility Improvements

Project Partners: California Tahoe Conservancy
Fundraising Goal: $150,000

Patton Landing Beach, also sometimes referred to as Waterman’s Landing, is one of the most visited beaches on Tahoe’s North Shore. It’s a popular spot for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and is home to adaptive paddling programs run by the Waterman Foundation.

This summer, the Tahoe Fund is teaming up with the California Tahoe Conservancy to support major accessibility improvements at Patton Landing, including a new boardwalk, picnic area, and upgrades to the facilities. This project will help transform this beach into an accessible place for all people, especially those with disabilities, to enjoy Lake Tahoe.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of a Tahoe Fund donor, every donation will be matched up to $75,000 to reach our goal! A limited number of engraved bears are available for a $25,000 donation, and every gift of $1,000 or more will be recognized on site.
