Tahoe Cross-Country (XC), based in Tahoe City, promotes healthy outdoor experiences for all through education and recreation. 

The Tahoe Fund supported Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Association as they created an interpretive education plan for Tahoe XC. The plan includes new interpretive signage and messaging for trail etiquette and safety, environmental education and stewardship messages, information about the Washoe Tribe and their native lands, and wayfinding maps for the different trail systems.
