Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care (LTWC) has a long history of rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing Tahoe’s injured and orphaned wildlife. To expand the organization’s ability to educate local residents and area visitors and increase wildlife stewardship, Tahoe Fund helped LTWC build a new Outdoor Learning Center on its spectacular new 27-acre property in South Lake Tahoe.
The facility offers daily programming during the summer months to teach people how to co-exist with wildlife and keep them wild.
Thanks to a major gift from the Mathman Family and a $15,000 match from Tahoe Blue Vodka, the public will now have the opportunity to see and learn about some of the animals in LTWC’s care.
