Douglas County Sheriff Swift Water Rescue

Project Partners: Douglas County Sheriff

Funds Granted: $6,000

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue team works hard to keep people safe while out on Lake Tahoe. This requires high-quality equipment to facilitate rescues, especially in dangerous lake conditions.

With support from the Tahoe Fund, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue team added new equipment to their boat, including a hard Bimini top and a platform for a dog that assists in rescue missions, making it easier for the team to keep people safe on the lake.
