Project Gifts

Your Support at Work at Lake Tahoe

The Tahoe Fund was founded by a group of individuals who recognized the need for a basin-wide, collaborative nonprofit that would deliver on-the-ground projects. The Tahoe Fund protects and improves the extraordinary natural environment of the Tahoe Basin by building broad support for projects and programs that preserve the Lake for the enjoyment of current and future generations.

The Tahoe Fund is committed to raising funds for projects that are part of Tahoe’s Environmental Improvement Program (EIP). EIP projects have been identified as those most critical to restoring the Tahoe Basin.
The Tahoe Fund will ensure a sustainable Lake Tahoe by directing project support towards:

Conservation – The past century’s development of Tahoe as a destination resort caused enormous damage to the environment, including Tahoe’s renowned water clarity.

Recreation – Tahoe’s recreational infrastructure does not adequately provide the opportunities individuals require for world-class outdoor experiences.

Education – While millions of tourists visit the Lake annually, there is a general lack of understanding of Tahoe’s environmental challenges and cultural history and the steps each person can take to make a difference.

Project Gifts are 100% tax deductible and can be designated for the project of your choice.  Please visit our Current Projects page for a list of active Tahoe Fund project campaigns.  If you would like more information please contact Amy Berry, CEO at 775-338-1668 or send an email to info@tahoefund.org.

The Tahoe Fund works to preserve the gift we inherited. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful difference in the long-term restoration and enhancement of Lake Tahoe’s resources.
