On the eve of the Lake Tahoe Summit, our donors gathered together to mix and mingle and hear from Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, US Senators Adam Schiff and Jacky Rosen as well as Congressman John Garamendi, Washoe Tribe of California and Nevada Chairman Smokey, and the President and CEO of NV Energy Brandon Barkhuff.
During the event we presented Valieria Koss, the Executive Director of the RennerVation Foundation, with a check for $25,400 to help send foster youth to Camp RennerVation. The NV Energy Foundation also announced a $50,000 gift to help us with our Fire Smart Pilots.
