Simply by encouraging your employees to purchase Lake Tahoe license plates, and ordering them for your company’s commercial vehicles and sales fleets. This beautiful plate will create a unifying energy amongst your employees, enhance your corporate brand as your commercial vehicles pass by in the area, and help take care of Lake Tahoe. And starting now through April 1, 2014, everyone who purchases a plate will receive two free lift tickets to a participating Alpine or Nordic resort of their choice.
At only $50 for a new plate, it’s a small way for your company and its employees to make a big difference. Funds from purchase and renewal fees go to a variety of important environmental improvement projects of the California Tahoe Conservancy and the Nevada Department of State Lands, including:
- Improving access for boating and fishing
- Connecting miles of hiking, biking and ADA-accessible trails
- Creating beach access for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle boarding
- Preserving open spaces for wildlife habitat and scenic views
