Tahoe City Bear Plaques

Project Partners: Placer County, Tahoe City Public Utility District

The Tahoe Fund is offering engraved bear plaques to be displayed along the railings at Heritage Plaza and along SR 28 in Tahoe City. The plaques feature an engraving of your choosing – such as your name or that of a loved one, a special message, or meaningful quotation – and are available in two different sizes.

The Mama Bear plaque, available for $5,000, measures 13” tall x 20” wide and has space for a 40-45 character message.

The Baby Bear plaque, available for $2,500, measures 8” tall x 12” wide and has space for a 20-25 character message. 

Proceeds from the plaques support trails in North Lake Tahoe (Placer County).
