Teens 4 Tahoe

Teens 4 Tahoe is a Tahoe Fund initiative designed to engage teens that want to be a part of the next generation of stewards in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

We are a collaboration of students from the Bay Area and Tahoe that are passionate about doing our part to improve the Lake Tahoe environment for all to enjoy.

Through this program, the Tahoe Fund helps us to succeed by providing the necessary resources to help accomplish our goals.

Events

For our first event, we are hosting a free virtual showing of the film “Wilder Than Wild: Fire, Forests, and the Future” on October 4th from 5:00pm – 7:00 pm. This film is open to all teenagers that want to learn about how climate change and wildfires have exposed western landscapes to large wildfires.

You can find the event information and registration here.

Due to COVID-19 we have a limited option for events. In the future, we look forward to engaging with the teens around Tahoe through picnics, hikes, and other fun activities.

For more information, or if you’re interested in joining Teens 4 Tahoe, please contact Eliza Spaht at teens4tahoe@tahoefund.org
