Match for the Marsh with Barton Health
We’re back with another awesome opportunity to transform the south end of the Upper Truckee Marsh, this time with help from our friends at Barton Health!
Now that the California Tahoe Conservancy has demolished the former Motel 6 building, restaurant, and parking lot from the Upper Truckee Marsh in South Lake Tahoe, planning is underway to bring this wetland back to life.
For years, Barton Health has teamed up with the Tahoe Fund to support projects that improve the environment. We’re picking up where we left off with our Million for the Marsh campaign and offering a brand new Match for the Marsh opportunity this June.
If 250 people donate $50 or more by June 30th, Barton will match those donations with an incredible $25,000 gift!
Your support will show how important this project is to our Tahoe community, which in turn will help our agency partners secure the public funds they need to restore the Upper Truckee Marsh South. Not only will this have a major impact on lake clarity, it will also improve the natural habitat and enhance public access and recreation opportunities.
Every donation will help bring this marsh back to life!
