“Wild” is the new theme in advertising for Lake Tahoe license plates, as U.S. National Paddleboard Team member Jay Wild of Truckee is featured in television and print ads shot last week at Carnelian Bay.

Thanks to JT Holmes, Eric Brandt and film crew at TahoeTV for helping the Tahoe Fund again!

Extreme skier and Transformers film wingsuit stuntman JT Holmes of Lake Tahoe shown during filming of promotional TV spots for the Tahoe Fund’s “Plate for Powder” program. Holmes donated his time for the TV spot, as Tahoe plate sales in California and Nevada benefit Tahoe Fund projects such as bike paths, hiking trails, parks and conservation work in the Tahoe Basin.

Tahoe Snow Sports Icons Daron Rahlves, Jeremy Jones Photo Shoot

Reno photographer Jeff Dow works with professional snowboarder and Lake Tahoe icon Jeremy Jones (in green jacket), shown talking with one of the most decorated skiers in U.S. History, Daron Rahlves. The Tahoe athletes donated their time to promote the Tahoe Fund’s Plate for Powder program, which gives two free lift tickets to buyers of a Tahoe plate in Nevada or California through tahoefund.org. Over 96% of license fees go directly to recreation and conservation projects in the Tahoe Basin.
